Everything you need to know about Glimetry — for employers, employees, and fitness studios.

General

Glimetry connects GLP-1 employee benefits to verified gym activity. Employees log check-ins through the Glimetry app. Partner gyms confirm attendance via QR code. Employers see aggregated program metrics — never individual health data. The result: measurable ROI on GLP-1 benefit spending, and lasting habits for employees.
GLP-1 agonists (semaglutide, tirzepatide, etc.) are a class of medications originally developed for type 2 diabetes that have shown strong weight-loss effects. They are increasingly covered as an employee benefit. They work best when paired with sustained physical activity — which is exactly the gap Glimetry is designed to fill.
Glimetry has three user types: Employers who offer GLP-1 benefits and want program visibility; Employees who are on or eligible for a GLP-1 benefit and want to track their gym activity; and Fitness Studio owners who want to become a preferred partner in local employer wellness plans.
No. Glimetry is an engagement tracking and verification layer, not an insurance product. We do not adjudicate claims, store medical records, or interact with insurance carriers. We track gym activity and surface engagement metrics to benefit administrators.
Each employee earns a score from 0–100 each month based on four signals: verified gym check-ins (25 pts), wearable workout data (25 pts), sleep goal days (25 pts), and heart-rate zone days (25 pts). A difficulty multiplier (Easy 1.0×, Medium 1.3×, Hard 1.6×) is applied based on the employee's self-selected program tier. Employers only ever see the aggregate average score across their enrolled population.

For Employers

Employers see aggregate, anonymized metrics only: total enrolled employees, average engagement score, participation rate, completion rate (% hitting monthly target), activity mix breakdown, and an estimated monthly savings figure. Individual employee names, health conditions, weight, BMI, medication details, and workout specifics are never visible to the employer, ever.
Sign in at glimetry-employer.vercel.app using your work email. Once authenticated, the employer dashboard is immediately available with demo data so you can explore before going live. No IT work, no HRIS integration, and no contract required to start.
The dashboard shows two estimate lines. Retention savings is based on an 18% improved retention rate among engaged GLP-1 benefit recipients × $45,000 average employee replacement cost × a 10% attribution factor. Monthly savings uses $1,200/engaged user/year (≈ $100/month) from EBRI 2024 Wellness ROI research on downstream healthcare cost reduction. These are estimates, not guarantees.
Not currently. Employees enroll directly through the Glimetry app using their corporate email. A future release will include SSO and benefit platform connectors. For now, enrollment takes under 2 minutes per employee and requires no IT involvement.
Glimetry is architected so that the employer portal never receives Protected Health Information (PHI). The system separates individual activity records from employer-visible aggregate metrics at the data layer — not just at the UI layer. See our Privacy Architecture page for a visual breakdown of exactly what data flows where.
Yes. The employer dashboard has an "Export report" button that downloads a CSV of aggregated program metrics for the selected date range. The export contains only aggregate figures — no individual records.

For Employees

No — and this is a core design principle. Your employer can see only aggregated, anonymized metrics across the whole enrolled population. Your individual workout logs, weight, medication details, check-in frequency, sleep data, and heart rate data are never visible to your employer. See our Privacy Architecture page for details.
Open the Glimetry app at glimetry-app.vercel.app on your phone. Sign in with your work email to link your account to your employer's program. Then select your difficulty tier (Easy, Medium, or Hard), connect Apple Health or your wearable, and start checking in at partner gyms.
A verified check-in occurs when a partner gym scans your in-app QR code at the time of your visit. Self-reported check-ins are not counted — the verification must come from the studio. This prevents gaming the system and ensures your engagement score reflects real activity.
During onboarding you choose Easy (1.0× multiplier), Medium (1.3×), or Hard (1.6×). A harder tier means each activity point is worth more — so you can reach a qualifying score with fewer absolute check-ins. It's designed to reward commitment over volume, and to be fair to people with different fitness starting points.
Your score has four components, each worth up to 25 points: verified gym check-ins, wearable workout sessions (via Apple Health or compatible devices), sleep goal days (≥7 hours), and active heart-rate zone days. The total is multiplied by your difficulty tier factor before being capped at 100.
On the 1st of each month, the app shows a monthly close summary: your final score, whether you qualified for the program period, and a breakdown of what drove your score. Your next month's target and pace are also shown so you know exactly what to aim for.

For Fitness Studios

Nothing. Partner studios join for free. There are no setup fees, monthly fees, or revenue share requirements. Studios benefit from co-marketing exposure in the local employer network and the ability to attract new members through employer GLP-1 benefit plans.
When a Glimetry member arrives at your studio, they open their app and display a QR code. A staff member scans it using the studio dashboard (available on any tablet or phone browser). The check-in is logged instantly, the member's score is updated, and aggregate data flows to their employer's dashboard — with no individual data disclosed.
No. The studio portal is a web app that works on any device with a camera and internet connection. You can use an existing front-desk tablet, a staff member's phone, or any browser-connected device. There is no app download required for studio staff.
Studios see only the check-in log within their own location: a anonymized member ID, the timestamp of each check-in, and a monthly engagement score for members who have checked in at your studio. No personal health data, medication history, or employer benefit details are visible to studio staff.
Visit glimetry-fitness-center.vercel.app and sign in with your studio's email. You can also explore the full dashboard with no account needed by clicking "Preview dashboard." Once signed up, you'll be listed in the Glimetry partner network for your local employer market.
Yes — the studio demo dashboard at glimetry-fitness-center.vercel.app/demo includes a live walkthrough of the 4-step verification pipeline: QR scan → check-in logged → member score updated → employer sees aggregate. No account needed.
